Job Title: Senior Data Warehouse ETL Developer /Data Architect

Location: Fairfield, CA 94534
Duration: 4–6+ months (Contract-to-Hire)
Rate: $75/hr on W2

The Senior Data Warehouse ETL Developer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting data warehouse solutions, with an emphasis on ETL, data quality, performance tuning, and production support.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor jobs configured in Qlik Compose, troubleshoot and resolve errors daily (production support).
  • Validate data for quality and accuracy.
  • Modify tasks to add tables and transforms.
  • Maintain core data warehouse structure including upgrades, implementing security tasks, and monitoring latencies.
  • Perform coding and infrastructure maintenance around Qlik Compose.
  • Lead end-to-end data warehouse solution builds including design, modeling, and ETL.

Required Skills
SQL (Advanced)
  • Strong understanding of complex joins, subqueries, and common table expressions.
  • Skilled in performance tuning and debugging.
ETL / ELT
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS.
  • Strong expertise in end-to-end data loading and extraction for data warehousing.
  • Experience building a data warehouse from scratch (including data modeling and table design).
Data Architecture & Modeling
  • Proficiency with Star Schema and Snowflake modeling.
  • Familiarity with Kimball methodology.
  • Experience designing and managing fact and dimension tables.
  • Performance tuning for large datasets and data storage strategies.
  • Ability to design subject areas and ELT architecture.
Tools & Languages
  • Experience with Qlik Compose (training available if needed).
  • Knowledge of .NET or Python (preferred)
