Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Business Analyst to join our Home and Community Living application development team. This role is critical to a high-visibility Salesforce modernization initiative. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic liaison between business units, technical teams, and vendor partners—helping to ensure scalable, maintainable, and user-centric solutions.
Note: Only candidates located near Boston, MA will be considered, due to the hybrid work requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze complex business processes and translate requirements into technical specifications.
Provide change management support to drive user adoption of Salesforce, including role-based training, user communication, and knowledge base content.
Support IT service delivery by managing ticket triage, monitoring SLAs, and ensuring quality resolution of incidents and enhancements.
Oversee implementation tasks such as minor enhancements, regression testing, vendor patch coordination, and user acceptance testing.
Document business and functional requirements using standardized templates and tools.
Conduct integration and user testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Deliver hands-on user training and support Salesforce’s out-of-the-box reporting and dashboard capabilities.
Provide Level II production support and escalate issues to vendors when required.
Collaborate with the Support Governance Committee to prioritize enhancement vs. support requests and identify trends for continuous service improvement.
Lead and manage stakeholder engagement to ensure consistent and successful adoption across departments.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in business analysis, IT service delivery, or systems implementation
Strong proficiency in business analysis, requirement gathering, and documentation standards
Experience with Agile tools like Jira for ticketing and reporting
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Teams
Excellent communication and facilitation skills for engaging diverse stakeholder groups
Proven track record in supporting scalable and maintainable enterprise solutions
Self-starter with strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
Salesforce System Administrator Certification (highly desirable)
Certifications such as PMP, IIBA, or Prosci Change Management
Experience in change management and increasing user adoption
Hands-on familiarity with Salesforce workflows, reports/dashboards, and configuration
Knowledge of ITIL or similar service management frameworks
