Oracle Analytics & Data Warehouse Developer (Contract)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Analytics & Data Warehouse Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale analytics and data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), dimensional data modeling, and OCI-based analytics platforms, supporting both modern cloud and legacy Oracle BI environments.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Development
Design, develop, and maintain OAC Workbooks, dashboards, and visualizations
Build interactive dashboards and pixel-perfect (BI Publisher) reports
Develop and maintain OAC Classic Reports
Configure OAC security, data connections, and system settings
Optimize dashboards for performance and usability
Semantic Model / RPD Development
Design and maintain Semantic Models (RPD) using Oracle BI Administration Tool
Build and optimize Business Models, Logical Table Sources, and Presentation Layers
Implement complex calculations, aggregations, time-series functions, and KPIs
Configure row-level security, data filters, and object permissions
Perform RPD migrations, merges, and deployments across environments
Troubleshoot logical SQL and RPD-related performance issues
Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Development
Design and develop ODI mappings, packages, and load plans
Create reusable ODI components (Knowledge Modules, variables, sequences)
Implement CDC and incremental loading strategies
Configure ODI agents, topology, security, and repositories
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ODI job performance
Manage ODI version control and deployment activities
Data Warehouse Development
Design and implement dimensional data models (Star & Snowflake schemas)
Apply Kimball and/or Inmon methodologies
Develop and optimize fact tables, dimension tables, and aggregates
Build ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation
Develop PL/SQL procedures, functions, and database objects
Ensure scalability, performance, and data quality
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administration
Provision and manage OCI resources including ADW, ATP, and OAC
Configure OCI networking, IAM policies, and security
Manage OCI Object Storage for staging and data lake needs
Integrate on-premise systems with OCI cloud services
Monitor resource usage and optimize cloud costs
API Development & Integrations
Develop and consume REST APIs for OAC automation and integrations
Integrate OAC with external applications and data sources
Legacy Systems Support
Support and migrate legacy OBIEE and Hyperion environments to OAC
Required Technical Skills
OAC / OBIEE: Expert in Data Visualization, Classic Analytics, Answers, Dashboards, Agents, and BI Publisher
