Job Title: Senior Application Developer – Python, Snowflake & Streamlit
Client: Capgemini
Location: New York City (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Rate: $55/hr on W2
Employment Type: USM W2
 
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Open Source Application Developer with deep expertise in Python, Snowflake, and Streamlit to build scalable, data-driven web applications supporting business intelligence and analytics in the finance or banking domain.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-performance Python applications.
  • Design and optimize Snowflake data models and SQL queries.
  • Build interactive dashboards using Streamlit for business stakeholders.
  • Implement modular, reusable code leveraging open-source libraries.
  • Participate in code reviews, version control (Git), and CI/CD processes.
 
Required Skills:
  • Strong Python programming (data manipulation, APIs, automation).
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake (SQL, performance tuning).
  • Proven Streamlit dashboard development.
  • Familiarity with ETL, data modeling, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with pandas and Python data libraries.
  • Knowledge of Docker/containerization.
  • UI/UX principles for dashboard design.
  • Open-source contributions (GitHub/portfolio links preferred).
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in software development or data engineering.
 
Note:
  • Finance/Banking domain experience preferred.
