 Title: COBOL Developer
 Location: Florham Park NJ (Hybrid, 3 days a week onsite)
 Rate: $65/hr c2c
 
Interview- Must go onsite for one and done Interview
 
Manager Notes:
Project/Space: This team works on ADP Retirement Services application, they are continually updating and working to make sure the functionality of the program is consistent and up to date.
 
**Need to be a SR Candidate needs Great communication and soft skills, able to hold conversation and also speak in great detail about their skill set technically and projects they have worked on.
 
*Must Haves:
·        COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL/ PROC on IBM mainframe.
·        FIS OMNI*
·        Requires programming skills, involved in the development of software applications. Knowledge of programming languages to develop necessary specifications for the software by following the technical designs.
·        In specific cases, knowledgeable on Agile/iterative development methodologies will be required (and called out).
 
JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications
* Mandatory Skills 10+ years relevant client experience
* Mainframe COBOL experience
* Proficient in ChangeMan, Control-M, SPUFI, QMF, CLISTs, REXX, INSYNCH UTILITIES
* Experience with Mainframe CICS REST Web Service
* Experience with Mainframe JSON and XML
* Experience with OmniPlus recordkeeping system
* Experience with FIS
* Analytical experience
* Proficient in multiple data environments including DB2 and VSAM files
* Proficient in JCL, SQL, CICS command level
* Experience with MVS, TSO, ISPF
* Proficient with AGILE and SCRUM methodology and ability to work in a team environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Self-starter
* Strong application debugging skills
* Proven ability to work closely with other team’s members to achieve project goals
* Results-driven and goal-oriented
* Must be able to work autonomously with minimum supervision
