Required
Skills (THERE IS NO FLEX ON THE REQUIREMENTS, ONLY REACH OUT TO CANDIDATES THAT
MEET THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW) Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university
is required, a power focus is preferred.
Must be a licensed professional engineer; if registered in a state other than
where the engineer will practice, the employee must be able to obtain a license
within eighteen months of date of hire.
A minimum of five years of direct experience and proven knowledge in high voltage
(138kV and above) electrical substation engineering and design field is
required.

Strong knowledge and
understanding of high voltage electrical substation components and their
functions at 138kV and above
Extensive knowledge of
AC/DC fundamentals

understanding of three phase power systems, per-unit mathematics, and
symmetrical components
Knowledge of common
engineering application software
Strong Knowledge and
understanding of engineering standards including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and
