We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with extensive experience in backend development and cloud-native technologies. This role requires onsite presence in Plano, TX, and candidates must be able to attend an in-person interview. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable microservices using Java and modern cloud infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Java development (Java 11 or above)
5+ years in backend web application development
Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and related libraries
Experience with Spock for unit testing
Hands-on experience with Cassandra: schema design, query optimization for large data sets
Proficient in Apache Kafka for asynchronous, event-driven systems
Proven expertise in building high-volume, low-latency transaction systems
Proficient with Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, and Git
