We are seeking
an experienced SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic IT team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our SQL
databases across multiple cloud platforms, ensuring data integrity, security,
and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases in
on-premises and multi-cloud environments (AWS & Azure).
Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance, including query
tuning, indexing, and resource management.
Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to
ensure data availability and integrity.
Security: Ensure database security by implementing and managing access
controls, encryption, and other security measures.
Automation: Utilize automation tools and scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to
streamline database management tasks.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to support application
development, troubleshoot issues, and optimize database interactions.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations,
processes, and procedures.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations,
including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
