Job Title: Oracle SCM Cloud Functional Consultant – Order Management & P2P
Location: Remote
Experience: 5–10+ years (minimum 3+ years in Oracle Cloud)
Role Overview
The Oracle SCM Cloud Functional Consultant will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and enhancing Oracle SCM Cloud modules with a primary focus on Order Management (OM) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes. The consultant will work with business stakeholders, gather requirements, configure SCM Cloud modules, manage testing cycles, and ensure successful solution delivery in a remote environment
Key Responsibilities
Functional Implementation & Support
  • Lead configuration, deployment, and support of Oracle SCM Cloud modules including:
    • Order Management (OM)
    • Procurement
    • Purchasing
    • Supplier Portal
    • Inventory
    • Accounts Payable (P2P Cycle Integration)
  • Understand and map business processes to Oracle Cloud functionalities.
  • Conduct requirement workshops, gap analysis, and provide feasible solutions.
  • Prepare functional design documents (MD50), test scripts, and user training material.
  • Perform setups, configurations, and coordinate migration activities between environments.
  • Support SIT/UAT cycles and work with cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
Order Management
  • Configure order orchestration flows, fulfillment lines, shipping, and pricing setups.
  • Work with integrations between OM and Inventory, AR, and external systems.
  • Handle ATP setups, order promising rules, and orchestration exceptions.
P2P
  • Implement end-to-end P2P cycles: requisitions → purchase orders → receipts → invoices → payments.
  • Configure Procurement BU, approval workflows, sourcing rules, supplier onboarding, and catalog management.
  • Resolve procurement, PO matching, and supplier collaboration issues.
Cross-Functional Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Finance, Manufacturing, and IT technical teams.
  • Support Oracle Cloud quarterly patch testing and impact analysis.
  • Assist in data migration, reporting requirements (OTBI, BI Publisher), and integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle SCM (EBS and/or Cloud), with at least 3 years in Oracle SCM Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience in Order Management and P2P modules.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise supply chain processes.
  • Ability to write and review functional documentation (BR100, MD50, TE40, etc.).
  • Experience with workflow/approval configuration and security setups.
  • Working knowledge of OTBI, BI Publisher reporting, and SaaS integrations.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
