We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience building enterprise data platforms on AWS. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS data engineering services, ETL/ELT pipelines, DevOps, CI/CD, and Python development. AWS Certification is required.
Required Skills
8+ years of Data Engineering experience on AWS.
AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer Certification.
Strong experience with AWS services including S3, Glue, EMR/Spark, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, CloudFormation, RDS, DynamoDB, Step Functions, IAM, KMS, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Lake Formation, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
Experience with Amazon Kinesis, AWS Managed Airflow, and AWS Managed Kafka (preferred).
Strong knowledge of Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT, and AWS data ingestion pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Shell Scripting, and REST API integrations.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, CloudFormation, CloudBees, SonarQube, Artifactory, Docker, Maven/Gradle, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation) and DevOps best practices.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable AWS data pipelines and enterprise data platforms.
Build automated ingestion pipelines from databases, file systems, NAS, and REST APIs into AWS data lakes and data warehouses.
Develop ETL/ELT solutions using AWS services.
Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and Agile development processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
