Job Description – Data Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong experience across modern data platforms and analytics tools. The ideal candidate will excel in building scalable data solutions, collaborating with business stakeholders, and delivering high‑quality, accurate data products. Experience working with consumer-focused datasets is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models.
Build and maintain impactful dashboards, data models, and semantic layers using Power BI (PBI).
Develop and support scalable data solutions in Snowflake, including data ingestion, transformation, and modeling.
Collaborate closely with analytics, business, and engineering teams to understand data needs and deliver reliable solutions.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all data products and integrations.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Required Skills & Experience
Azure Data Factory (ADF) – building and orchestrating pipelines.
SQL – strong proficiency in query optimization, modeling, and data transformation.
Power BI – report development, modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices.
Snowflake – hands-on experience with schema design, Snowflake SQL, and performance tuning.
Experience with consumer data or consumer analytics is a strong plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
