Performance Tester – details below. Please note: US Citizens only, (I know it’s tight — I’m barely making anything on this one), and onsite 2 days/week in Ashburn, VA. This is a long-term opportunity — end client is CBP (Custom Boarder Patrol)
We’re seeking an experienced Performance Tester with strong hands-on expertise in JMeter and LoadRunner to support enterprise-level application and infrastructure testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring 5-6+ years of experience in performance, load, and stress testing across complex environments, ensuring application stability and scalability under peak loads.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute performance test plans using JMeter and LoadRunner
Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks across applications and infrastructure
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to optimize performance issues
Create detailed test reports with findings, trends, and recommendations
Required Skills:
Proven experience with JMeter and LoadRunner (5+ years)
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Solid understanding of performance metrics, tuning, and monitoring tools
This role requires a detail-oriented tester who thrives in fast-paced, high-impact environments and enjoys uncovering performance issues before they become production problems.
Must be onsite 2x/week in Ashburn, VA
