Experiences group is hiring 4 Back-end Python Developers to work on the
Enterprise Feature Platform for the Data organizations.
There are two major components under EFP, one of which contractors are not
asked to work on. The other is a "common capability" for the
enterprise.
-Backend API w/ Database, lots of in-production operational dependencies.
Our team has built full new stack that will replace it.
Existing stack is API w/ Lambda and Python - all data in DynamoDB table
Handful of live customers that are high value to the platform - including
Cerberus initiative.
Priorities for the team include:
1) Migrate table from Dynamo to Aurora DB
2) Implement validation of metadata
3) Provide a plan and possibly even tooling to help migrate from existing to
new API
4) Decommission existing stack
We currently are supporting and onboarding new clients to the platform through
manual processes, not fully automated. New features that want to onboard to the
platform, there's a white glove process, do an amount of manual steps to
onboard and get them operational. We're getting new features continuously to do
that with. We're working on automated capabilities (other devs doing that) but
still a lot manual.
Wrap up existing open workstreams
Objective - get FTEs to frame the problems we need to wrap up, form transition
plans, additional contractors to begin to implement solutions for problems.

Data stored in Dynamo Table that we want to migrate to relational
