Overview:
An AR/VR Developer crafts immersive digital experiences by building applications and simulations using Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies. This role encompasses the entire development lifecycle—from ideation and prototyping to testing, optimization, and deployment across multiple platforms. AR/VR Developers blend coding, 3D modeling, UI/UX design, and system integration to deliver engaging, interactive content.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement AR/VR functionality through clean, efficient code. Optimize performance to deliver seamless interactive experiences.
  2. Collaborate with designers to transform concepts into wireframes and functional prototypes. Develop 3D models, animations, and user interfaces that align with the product vision
  3. Ensure stability and performance through rigorous testing across diverse platforms and devices. Integrate 3D assets, audio, APIs, and other system components.
  4. Focus on delivering intuitive, immersive user interactions tailored to AR/VR environments.
  5. Work cross-functionally with designers, developers, and product managers to bring immersive ideas to life with cohesion and precision.
  6. Stay current on emerging tools and techniques in AR/VR. Experiment with novel approaches to enhance immersion and realism.
  7. Adapt and fine-tune applications to ensure fluid performance across device types and system constraints.
  8. Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure reliable functionality and user satisfaction.
 
Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Proficient in C#, C++, or JavaScript; strong command of Unity or Unreal Engine.
  2. Hands-on experience with tools like Blender or Maya for asset creation and animation workflows.
  3. Familiar with AR/VR toolkits such as ARKit, Oculus SDK, or HTC Vive, ARCore
  4. Solid understanding of 3D mathematics for spatial computing and interaction mechanics.
  5. Ability to troubleshoot complex development challenges creatively and efficiently.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across technical and creative disciplines.
