Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Business Analyst with a strong foundation in cybersecurity to support key initiatives across our technology and business teams. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter, able to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language, and comfortable working in fast‑moving, security‑focused environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between cybersecurity teams, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate understanding of requirements, risks, and outcomes.
  • Gather, document, and translate business and technical requirements into clear, actionable specifications.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives with a focus on penetration testing—including understanding test objectives, interpreting results at a high level, and coordinating seamless handoffs to the penetration testing team.
  • Develop clear, concise, and visually compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate processes, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Map, articulate, and refine business and technical processes related to cybersecurity, risk, workflow, and system interactions.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure that security testing activities, timelines, and deliverables are well‑understood and effectively managed.
  • Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities as programs evolve.
  • Work independently with minimal direction, taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion.

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar hybrid technical/business role.
  • Demonstrated experience working within cybersecurity environments or on related projects.
  • Understanding of penetration testing concepts, tools, workflows, and deliverables (hands‑on testing experience not required).
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, including the ability to build executive‑ready decks that clearly convey technical ideas.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details into clear business language.
  • Strong process mapping, documentation, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take initiative.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams including security engineers, developers, product teams, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with common cybersecurity or penetration testing frameworks (e.g., OWASP).
  • Familiarity with vulnerability assessment processes and reporting.
  • Exposure to agile methodologies or cybersecurity project environments.
  • Background in risk management, IT security operations, or security tooling.
