Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Developer
& Database Administrator (DBA) to support mission-critical applications and
databases. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Oracle database administration, PL/SQL
development, production support, performance tuning, database migration, and
cloud migration initiatives involving AWS and Red Hat Linux environments.
Key
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures,
functions, triggers, and database objects.
Provide Level 2/Level 3
production support and resolve critical database issues.
Perform data analysis,
troubleshooting, and data correction activities.
Administer Oracle databases including installation,
configuration, upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery.
Design, implement, and
maintain materialized views and database performance optimization
strategies.
Support database migration
projects across on-premises, AWS, and Red Hat Linux (RHEL) environments.
Monitor database
performance and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
Perform database security,
user management, and access control administration.
Execute database
deployment, release management, and post-deployment validation.
Collaborate with
development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure system reliability
and availability.
Experience with production
support and incident management.
Strong SQL performance
tuning and query optimization skills.
Experience with
materialized views, partitioning, and database performance monitoring.
Hands-on experience
with Oracle database migration
and upgrade projects.
Experience working with
AWS services (RDS, EC2, DMS, S3, CloudWatch).
Experience
supporting Oracle databases on
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Knowledge of
backup/recovery strategies, RMAN, Data Pump, and disaster recovery.
Strong analytical and
troubleshooting skills.
Preferred
Skills
Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
Shell scripting
(Linux/Unix).
DevOps and CI/CD exposure.
Experience in large-scale
enterprise production environments.
