Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PP/DS / ePPDS Consultant to support design, implementation, and optimization of advanced production planning and scheduling processes. The role requires deep expertise in S/4HANA PPDS / ePPDS (embedded PPDS), strong integration skills with other S/4HANA modules (MM, PP, SD, APO migration), and the ability to partner with business stakeholders to deliver efficient, optimized supply chain solutions

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA PP/DS / ePPDS.
  • Configure and optimize production planning and detailed scheduling processes within S/4HANA.
  • Set up and maintain planning objects (resources, PDS, planning versions, heuristics, PPDS master data).
  • Develop and implement heuristics, optimizer profiles, and scheduling strategies for finite capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, PP, QM, SD, APO, IBP) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Perform migration from APO PPDS to S/4 ePPDS, including CIF integration and data validation.
  • Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design planning solutions.
  • Provide training, documentation, and support to end-users.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide L2/L3 support for PP/DS processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 12+ years of overall SAP experience with at least 8+ years in SAP S/4HANA PP/DS or ePPDS.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, detailed scheduling, MRP, capacity planning, and order sequencing.
  • Expertise in heuristics, optimization, and pegging strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with master data setup (PDS, resources, planning versions, calendars, work centers).
  • Experience in APO PPDS to ePPDS migration and CIF integration with ECC/S4.
  • Strong integration experience with SAP PP, MM, SD, and IBP.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing industries (discrete, process, repetitive).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
