Role
overview
Mastek
is hiring a DevOps Engineer to build and run the cloud infrastructure, CI/CD
pipelines, and release automation for our Geode Capital Management engagement.
The DevOps Engineer will be embedded with Geode's technology teams, bringing
automation, reliability, and security discipline to environments that support
portfolio management, trading, and data workloads. Uptime, auditability and
change control matter here as much as speed. We're looking for someone who
communicates clearly with both engineers and business stakeholders, stays calm
during incidents, and takes ownership of reliability as a shared outcome.
Key
responsibilities
Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub
Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) for application, data and infrastructure
code
Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or
Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation or Bicep)
Build and operate containerized platforms on Kubernetes
(EKS/AKS) and Docker, including Helm charts and GitOps tooling such as
Argo CD
Automate environment provisioning, configuration, and
release processes to cut manual steps and deployment lead time
Implement monitoring, logging and alerting (Datadog,
Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk or CloudWatch) and define SLOs for critical
services
Embed security into the pipeline: secrets management,
image and dependency scanning, IAM least privilege and policy-as-code
Support change management, audit trails and evidence
collection that meet financial-services regulatory and internal controls
Partner with data engineering teams on deployment of
data pipelines and platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow)
Participate in on-call rotation, incident response and
blameless post-incident reviews
Document runbooks and architecture, and coach Geode and
Mastek engineers on DevOps practices

engineering roles

Solid Linux administration and networking fundamentals
(DNS, load balancing, TLS, VPC/VNet design)
Experience with Git-based workflows, code review and
branching strategies
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or
related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred
qualifications
Experience in asset management, banking or other
regulated financial-services environments
Familiarity with SOC 2, SOX or similar control
frameworks and audit evidence
Exposure to data platform DevOps: Snowflake,
Databricks, DBT or Airflow deployments
Policy-as-code and security tooling (OPA, Checkov,
Snyk, Wiz, HashiCorp Vault)
Certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer –
Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, CKA/CKAD, or HashiCorp
Terraform Associate
