ducation & Experience:
• A degree is required.
• 6+ years of experience as an SDET/Automation Engineer.

Technical Skills (Required - Must Have):
1. Back-end/API Automation (6+ yrs): Rest Assured, Java, Spring Boot. Must have experience with RESTful APIs, Postman, and Swagger.
2. Front-end/UI Automation (3+ yrs): Cypress or Playwright with TypeScript. Must understand web fundamentals (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).
3. Framework & Methodology: Proven experience with BDD, Cucumber, and Gherkin for both API and UI testing.
4. CI/CD: Good working experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Desired Skills
• Designing and maintaining API test automation frameworks.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams (2+ years).
• End-to-end and integration testing (full-stack, 3rd parties).
• SQL for database querying.
• DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git).
• Apigee or other API gateways (a plus).
• Load and performance testing experience.

Critical Soft Skills:
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to adapt quickly to a complex environment.
• Proactive, flexible, and creative collaborator.

Important Disqualifiers & Red Flags
• No multi-project experience: Candidates who have not handled multiple projects simultaneously should not be submitted.
• Not local: The hiring team wants local candidates only. Do not submit non-local applicants.
• Missing core tech: Lack of the required 6+ years in Java/Rest Assured for API or 3+ years in Cypress/Playwright for UI will be disqualifying.
