Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly
experienced Senior Data Engineering Lead with a minimum of 10+
years in modern data engineering, data warehousing, and data lake technologies
on the Azure cloud platform. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical
expertise with strong leadership skills to drive development efforts and manage
stakeholder expectations.
Must-Have Skills:
Expert-level proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
5+ years in Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Redshift,
Snowflake, or BigQuery
12+ years in SQL, schema design, and dimensional
modeling
Experience with Databricks (preferred but not
mandatory)
Hands-on with ADF, Informatica, Talend; experience
implementing Medallion Architecture
Proficiency in Azure SQL DB, Data Lake Storage,
Cosmos DB, Blob Storage
Proven ability to lead development teams and deliver
high-quality solutions
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD deployments
Knowledge of cloud migration methodologies
2+ years with Power BI
5+ years with reporting tools like Tableau, OBIEE,
etc.
