Database Analyst/Programmer Overview: - The main function of a database analyst/programmer is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. A typical database analyst/programmer is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database. - The position is responsible for designing, creating, documenting, and maintaining analytics data flows from Enterprise safe sources through an analytics data layer to end consumers via direct data connections or reporting tools. - The incumbent contributes to the work group by being the subject matter expert for their responsible data threads and serves as overlap with team members to support the team’s data and product portfolio. - Contributions include data sets that have been cleansed, normalized, and crafted to support specific business use cases while adhering to the team’s standards and scope
