Overview
We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to lead enterprise CI/CD and security practices supporting ~22 software engineering teams. This role is highly technical and strategic, focused on modernizing pipelines, driving GitHub adoption, eliminating config drift, and aligning with enterprise DevSecOps standards.

Core Responsibilities
  • Drive migration from Azure DevOps (ADO) to Gitlab repo
  • Design and optimize scalable CI/CD pipelines across multiple applications
  • Partner with enterprise DevSecOps teams to standardize tooling and reduce config drift
  • Implement and govern secure SDLC practices (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning)
  • Support custom deployment needs and complex release scenarios
  • Drive adoption of modern engineering practices and tooling improvements
Required Tools & Technologies
  • CI/CD & Repo Management: Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab
  • Security Tools: Snyk (DAST), SonarQube
  • Cloud: Azure (app teams handle IaC, but DevSecOps integrates pipelines)
  • Infrastructure/Automation: Terraform (custom modules), YAML pipelines
  • Scripting: PowerShell, Bash
  • Database DevOps tooling integration
Location & Qualifications
  • Location: Remote (U.S. preferred; Central Time alignment ideal – Houston-based teams)
  • Experience: 7–10+ years DevOps/DevSecOps
  • Certifications (Required by EOY): AZ-900, AZ-204
  • Proven experience in large-scale DevSecOps transformations
