Opportunity Overview:
Seeking cloud security monitoring specialist with expertise in MS Azure for 3-month staff aug engagement. This role is part of a strategic initiative to enhance cloud threat detection and improve security posture within the Azure environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Strong background in cloud security monitoring, specifically within Azure
Experience in threat detection engineering, not administration
Deep understanding of how Azure environments can be attacked and what indicators should be monitored
Background in security tool deployment and or SIEM rule creation
Ability to assess existing systems and provide strategic recommendations
Not necessarily hands on but must be able to guide technical teams effectively.
Role Responsibilities:
Analyze current Azure security detection capabilities
Recommend improvements and identify gaps
Provide strategic input and potentially guide the build-out of monitoring processes.
Collaborate with a 3-4 member internal monitoring team to understand the environment

Operating 24/7/365 across US, Canada, and the Philippines
