Location: New York City (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Rate: $60/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager with strong experience in digital transformation within the finance or banking domain. The ideal candidate will lead complex, cross-functional programs focused on client-facing digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership: Drive end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives across product lines and tech stacks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Product Owners, UX, Engineering, Compliance, and Wealth Advisors to define and prioritize capabilities.
  • Technical Oversight: Convert business needs into technical deliverables aligned with architecture, privacy, and cybersecurity standards.
  • Agile Governance: Lead Agile ceremonies, manage backlogs, and ensure sprint goals are met.
  • Risk & Compliance: Identify risks, manage mitigation plans, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Client Experience: Advocate for user-centric design and measurable improvements in client engagement.
  • Reporting: Define KPIs, monitor program health, and deliver executive-level updates.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years in technical program management; 5+ years in digital platforms (preferably financial services/fintech).
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. MBA or PMP/CSM is a plus.

Skills:

  • Deep understanding of API ecosystems, cloud-native architectures, and digital transformation.
  • Proven success managing multi-million dollar programs with cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum, JIRA, Confluence, and DevOps.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with SEC, FINRA, and data governance.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience with platforms like E*TRADE, Shareworks.
  • Passion for secure, scalable, and intuitive digital experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
