This person will help with implementing cortex
5+ years in data engineering/analytics engineering with production experience on Snowflake and cloud data warehouses.
MUST HAVE ML data exp experience.
Define and maintain a governed semantic layer that supports accurate natural language querying via Cortex and other approved AI tools.
Partner with AI Engineers and FDEs to model data for AI agents, retrieval, and analytics; optimize for performance, permissions, and correctness.
Experience with programming languages such as Python
Experience in developing machine-learning algorithms, statistical and mathematical optimization models via machine-learning frameworks, such as Pytorch, Tensorflow, Scikit-Learn and MLlib
Experience operationalizing semantic/AI layers that back NLQ experiences; familiarity with Cortex or similar platforms.
Proficiency with ELT tooling (e.g AWS Glue) and data quality frameworks.
Understanding of enterprise governance, PII handling, and audit requirements (e.g., SOX adjacent constraints).
