Technical Project Manager – Content Management Systems (CMS)
Location: Miami (onsite 5 days)
Length 6 month +

Professional Summary
Experienced Technical Project Manager with expertise leading the delivery, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Content Management Systems (CMS). Skilled in managing cross-functional teams, coordinating business and technical stakeholders, and driving end-to-end digital content initiatives. Strong background in Agile project delivery, CMS platforms, integrations, content workflows, and digital transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead CMS implementation, migration, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications.
  • Partner with business teams, content authors, developers, UX designers, and architects to define requirements.
  • Coordinate development activities across front-end, back-end, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Drive Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
  • Oversee content migration strategies, metadata mapping, taxonomy development, and governance processes.
  • Ensure integration of CMS platforms with CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and other enterprise applications.
  • Track project KPIs and provide executive-level status reporting.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party implementation partners.
Required Technical Skills
  • Enterprise CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, Drupal, WordPress, Optimizely, or Contentful.
  • Agile/Scrum project management.
  • JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
  • Digital content lifecycle management.
  • API integrations, web services, and middleware concepts.
  • SDLC, release management, and change management.
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of project/program management experience.
  • 3+ years managing CMS-focused initiatives.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications.
  • Experience with large-scale content migration and digital transformation programs.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
