Job Description
As a DevSecOps Engineer you’ll have the chance to work with a team of engineers
delivering medical device software to the cloud. You will work with
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Azure (Cloud), as well as automating Palo
Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers, and other platform infrastructure. You will
also contribute to our automation platform.
What You’ll Work On
Design solutions to enable global cloud provisioning and migration
Design and Build tools to enable self service and no ops capabilities
Be or become a subject matter expert on Azure IaaS and PaaS services for the
Clinical Platform Engineering team
Work with tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, Artifactory, and other similar
tooling
Consume REST APIs
Contribute to dev ops workflows through expert guidance and paring with other
team members
Apply enterprise security policies and standards when performing all
operational duties
Anything a team member can do that contributes to enhanced system reliability
and availability is within scope. Anything that does not contribute to that
bottom line is out of scope.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of DevOps experience
3+ years of Azure experience preferred
Familiarity with system and security design principles of medical device back
end software
Working knowledge of tools such as Git, Gitlab, GitHub, Artifactory, and other
similar tooling
Experience with Terraform in Azure
Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of software development experience
Experience with Chef
Ability to mentor and teach others complex cloud and application concepts
Experience building and deploying services to Kubernetes
