Duration:  Direct Hire (25% fee)
Citizenship: US Citizen or Green Card
Rate:5 year people will be paid around 100k,
10 years would be around 125k 
15 year people will be paid around 140k
 
Required Skills (THERE IS NO FLEX ON THE REQUIREMENTS, ONLY REACH OUT TO CANDIDATES THAT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW)
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited university is required, a power focus is preferred. 
Must be a licensed professional engineer; if registered in a state other than where the engineer will practice, the employee must be able to obtain a license within eighteen months of date of hire. 
A minimum of five years of direct experience and proven knowledge in high voltage (138kV and above) electrical substation engineering and design field is required.

If they possess skills in the following areas, they will be very preferred:
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of high voltage electrical substation components and their functions at 138kV and above
  • Extensive knowledge of AC/DC fundamentals
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of three phase power systems, per-unit mathematics, and symmetrical components
  • Knowledge of common engineering application software
  • Strong Knowledge and understanding of engineering standards including NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI
  • Strong knowledge of design documents and drawings necessary to complete a project
  • Supervising a project team in a technical work environment
  • Knowledge of common word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail software
  • Working in a team environment
  • Communicating effectively with co-workers, vendors, clients, etc.
