Job Description
You will be taking your QE skills and aligned with
one of the following squads to be determined after the interview: High Level Goal of Each Squad:
Non Monetary Servicing - This squad is building the iOS and Android front
end experiences for login, account dashboard, account details, and transactions.
They are also delivering the supporting backend APIs that connect these
experiences to the bank’s core domain services.
Monetary Servicing - This squad is developing the mobile and backend
capabilities that power check deposit, wire originations, and move money
approval and rejection workflows. Their work extends the core servicing
features to enable fully functional monetary interactions inside the mobile
channel.
Commercial Risk Domain - This squad is creating backend services within the
Enterprise Risk Domain to support soft token and hard token authentication.
They are also ensuring all relevant customer flows are integrated with the
bank’s fraud prevention and cybersecurity platforms.
Move Money – Wire - This squad is delivering backend capabilities in the
Move Money Domain that enable wire initiation, approval, and related
processing. Their services will be the core integration point that other
channels and systems use to perform and manage wire transactions.
FTD Surge - This squad is accelerating backend development for the Fifth
Third Direct platform to support the increased integration needs of upstream
domain squads. Additional engineering capacity enables the pace required to
meet delivery timelines across the broader program.
Payment Orchestration - This squad is building an orchestration layer that
translates and normalizes incoming payment files—such as Comerica’s integrated
payables formats—into Fifth Third’s standard payment rails without requiring
clients to change their existing integrations. They also provide a centralized
data translation service ensuring all channels remain compliant with the
upcoming ISO20022
structured address requirements, even if those channels are unable to support
the upgrades independently.
