? About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to lead technical direction and hands-on development within a high-performing mortgage technology team. This role is 80% coding / 20% mentoring, working closely with 6–11 engineers to deliver scalable and business-critical applications.
✅ What You’ll Do
• Design, build & optimize microservices (Java + Spring Boot) • Hands-on full stack coding with strong UI exposure (Angular preferred) • Architect, deploy & ensure code quality across platforms • Lead DevOps, CI/CD & cloud (AWS) integration initiatives • Drive high-impact delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment • Mentor and coach junior developers • Collaborate with stakeholders across business & tech
? Must-Have Skills
✔ 7–8+ years software development experience ✔ Java, Spring Boot, Microservices ✔ UI frameworks — Angular strongly preferred ✔ Strong experience with SQL & NoSQL (MongoDB, Postgres, SQL Server) ✔ CI/CD: Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, Atlassian suite ✔ Strong understanding of application security best practices ✔ Production support & incident resolution experience ✔ Cloud experience — AWS (EKS, Docker, OpenShift)
⭐ Preferred / Nice to Have
• Mortgage domain experience highly desired • Freddie Mac / Fannie Mae experience is a plus • Knowledge of modern architecture & design patterns • Proven leadership experience in Agile teams
