DTCC is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our growing technology and business solutions team. This role plays a critical part in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving initiatives that enhance the efficiency, security, and scalability of DTCC’s core systems. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise, hands-on experience with complex financial systems, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to define, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements.
Analyze existing systems, data flows, and processes to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements and functional specifications.
Partner with development teams during design, testing, and implementation phases to ensure requirements are met.
Conduct impact analysis for system enhancements and regulatory changes.
Support UAT planning, test case creation, and execution as needed.
Prepare documentation including process flows, use cases, and requirement traceability matrices.
Serve as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout project lifecycles.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
5–8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in the financial services or capital markets industry.
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
Experience with data analysis, SQL queries, and system integration projects.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to handle multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with DTCC systems, post-trade processing, or financial market infrastructure.
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance processes impacting financial institutions.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and other Agile collaboration tools.
