Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer with strong expertise in Field Service Lightning (FSL) to support enterprise Salesforce initiatives within a utility environment.
This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing Salesforce solutions that support field operations, scheduling, dispatch, and service management workflows.
The ideal candidate has hands-on FSL experience and understands the operational complexity of utility or energy sector organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Development
  • Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
  • Configure and enhance Field Service Lightning (FSL) functionality including:
    • Work Orders
    • Service Appointments
    • Scheduling & Dispatch
    • Resource Management
  • Build integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems.
  • Develop custom APIs and handle data transformations.
FSL & Field Operations
  • Customize and optimize FSL scheduling policies and optimization rules.
  • Support mobile workforce enablement.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to streamline field service workflows.
Technical Delivery
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices.
  • Support CI/CD deployments and environment management.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and production defects.
  • Work closely with architects and admins to ensure scalable design.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Field Service Lightning (FSL).
  • Proficiency in:
    • Apex
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • SOQL/SOSL
    • REST/SOAP integrations
  • Experience in a utility or energy sector environment (preferred).
  • Experience working in Agile delivery models.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification.
  • Field Service Lightning certification.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP or asset management systems.
  • Familiarity with large-scale enterprise environments.
