Email Marketing Coordinator
Miami, FL 33132 (3-4 days per week)
6-8 month contract to hire
Rate: $40/hr W2 MAX

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Email Marketing Coordinator will assist with the successful creation and deployment of booked-guest email campaigns in a consistent effort to drive pre-cruise product bookings and increase email engagement through personalization tactics. The Sr. Account Executive will perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, end-to-end execution of email communications, assisting with the building and coding of new email campaigns, audience selection, audience segmentation, A/B testing, campaign deployment, and performance measurement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Help troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, email opt-outs, and other aspects of email execution, as needed.
Help coordinate the Pre-Cruise email A/B test execution in collaboration with the Business Intelligence team and creative agency.
Own routing and trafficking of email creative for leadership approval and internal stakeholders.
Assist with Ad Hoc campaigns planning and build a promotional email calendar to supplement always-on triggered campaigns. 
Assist with past and current email campaign performance analysis and propose new ways to improve metrics through analytical learnings.
Request and analyze reports, and detailed post-mortem campaign documentation with configuration information on email campaign logic, segmentation, and AMPscript rules and share the completed analysis with other internal stakeholders.
Assist with promotions execution and partner up with other internal stakeholders to develop, test and launch channel-wide campaigns.
Write briefs and/or draft creative concepts in collaboration with the creative agency to launch new email campaigns and A/B tests.
Help manage channel’s Litmus account by organizing campaign proofs, updating code snippets with the latest and constant HTML enhancements post-testing, and leading approval workflow across different teams during the Q&A process for various email campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

EDUCATION: bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising or related field of study or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE: minimum 1 year of experience creating and executing email campaigns using SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Cheetah Digital, Acoustic, or comparable email service providers.
Understand HTML-based email marketing campaigns with responsive CSS properties and media queries.
Self-driven and reliable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read and understand emails HTML and build new email campaign drafts from existing content blocks to ideate new campaigns, email content, and testing ideas.
Basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products (especially Photoshop and Illustrator).
Experience managing creative assets with an agency or an internal creative team.
Solid understanding of database concepts and segmentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use time effectively, prioritize and manage multiple projects with time-sensitive deadlines.
Strong follow-up skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
