Job Title: AJO Developer

Target Start Date: Immediately

Duration: 6 months

Location: CA 100% Remote role

Ideal candidate location – West Coast

Rate: $70-90/hr on W2

USC/GC only

AJO Developer Responsibilities :

• Act as a hands-on Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) developer, responsible for building, configuring, and maintaining journeys

• Design and implement event- and segment-based journeys using AEP Real-Time Customer Profile

• Configure and manage journey entry conditions, decision logic, wait activities, and exit criteria

• Build and maintain cross-channel activations (email, web, paid media, call center)

• Work closely with AEP engineers to ensure data readiness, identity resolution, and profile attributes required for journey execution

• Integrate AJO within the broader AEP architecture, including datasets, schemas, identities, and destinations

• Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to translate business use cases into executable journeys

• Support offer management and personalization, including content variants and eligibility rules

• Perform end-to-end testing, validation, and troubleshooting of journeys prior to production launch

• Support UAT, go-live, and hypercare, including monitoring journey performance and execution issues

• Document journey designs, assumptions, dependencies, and operational runbooks

• Travel onsite to LA offices regularly
